Pretty Place

I was honored to be asked to assist curating Quilted Faith, a Fine Arts Exhibition featuring Christian fiber artists of Upstate South Carolina. The exhibit opened September 5 at the First Presbyterian Church in Greenville.

It’s a beautiful show in a beautiful space! The exhibit will be up until January 3, 2025.

I have two small pieces in the show.  One of the small quilts, His Sanctuary, can be found in my Gallery, Day 5, here on the website.

The one that is pictured here is Pretty Place. The following is part of the signage found at the exhibit.

This small quilt is a composite of several pictures I took at Pretty Place located in the South Carolina mountains.  If you are from the upstate you know this is a favorite destination for weddings as well as a place of inspiration and reflection for many people.
