Day 5: His Sanctuary, a small wallhanging, 2014, Germantown, MD

I created this small wall hanging from a photo that I took of our son Zach as he was taking pictures of Bryce Canyon Utah.  Zach is happiest when he is on the top of a mountain with a camera in hand.  I put his profile in a silhouette and used Trapunto to make his profile stand out.  In the far right corner, you get a peak of the “Hoo Doos” that fill the canyon below.
